People are shocked to discover Snoop Dogg’s 2024 Olympics salary

Snoop Dogg’s antics appear to have stolen the show during this year’s Olympics, but the rapper is also expected to earn a lot of money.

How did we hold the Olympics without Snoop Dogg? The iconic rapper has brought an infectious level of excitement and buzz to every concert he has attended.

Based solely on his comments, we already have a few decent memes starring the ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ actor.

From arriving in full equestrian gear at the Dressage team grand prix special to pumping up the participants from the sidelines, spectators have praised the 52-year-old’s contributions thus far.

The man even had the opportunity to carry the Olympic torch, which would make sense if the Netherlands hosted the Olympics, but that’s not the case here.

Snoop, whose full name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., has been working for NBC as a special correspondent for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

However, the rapper isn’t simply giving out his positive vibes for free.

Many fans have wondered how much money Snoop has made from his appearances and commentary.

If one report is accurate, it is a startling statistic.
Henry L. McNamara, a New York-based venture entrepreneur, resorted to social media to expose what he supposedly overheard regarding Snoop’s salary.

“Sat next to an NBC executive at dinner,” McNamara tweeted on August 4. He mentioned that Snoop receives a daily payment of $500,000, in addition to his expenses, for his involvement in promoting the Olympics.

“From ‘Gin and Juice’ to a few million to be a celebrity at the Olympics—what a world.”

If this is an accurate estimate, Snoop will purportedly earn $8 million throughout the 16-day Paris 2024 Olympics. Not terrible for a few weeks’ effort, is it?

And it appears that social media fans agreed, stating that the rapper was a treat to witness and well worth the money.

“It’s worthwhile!” “Snoop Dogg is rocking the @Olympics,” one Twitter user said.

Another said, “He is worth double that amount. “Snoop is America.”
A third person said, “Money well spent since he is fantastic! “Hopefully, next year, they will compensate @FlavorFlav because he created these Olympics for me.”

Meanwhile, a fourth said, “Totally worth it—he’s working hard and bringing so much attention to the broadcast/social media.”
